For all the Bhangra enthusiasts worldwide, the Dhol-E app offers the perfect way to enjoy playing the Dhol on their iPhone or iPod Touch.

The Dhol is a traditional musical instrument that holds great cultural significance in the Asian subcontinent, particularly in northern India's Punjab region. With Dhol-E, playing this iconic instrument is as simple as tapping on your device's screen with your fingers. The app features three distinct sounds, corresponding to each side of the Dhol drum, as well as tapping on the Dhol barrel. Additionally, users can play along with songs from their iPod collection, further enhancing their experience.

To ensure optimal sound quality, it is recommended to use headsets or connect to powered external speakers for an even better auditory experience.

Dhol-E truly brings out the inner Dholi within you, providing a unique and immersive musical experience.

Version 2.0 introduces a groundbreaking new feature called "Dhol-E Connect," which revolutionizes the way users can teach and learn the Dhol. With "Dhol-E Connect," two iPhones or iPods running Dhol-E can be connected via Bluetooth. Once connected, users can watch their friends play the Dhol on their screen and follow along or play alongside them.

To establish a connection using "Dhol-E Connect," simply follow these straightforward steps:

Make sure both devices have the latest version of Dhol-E installed.
On both devices, press the "Dhol-E Connect" button.
Within a few minutes, both devices will detect each other and display the device name.
On either device, tap on the device name and click the accept button on the other device.
To modify "Dhol-E Connect" settings, access the Settings icon on your iPhone's home screen and scroll down to Dhol-E.

Please note that "Dhol-E Connect" requires an in-app upgrade on both devices and is not compatible with the original iPhone and the original iPod.

iPad owners can enjoy the exclusive iPad-only version of Dhol-E, called Dhol-E HD.
